Leave a Book Review

This is the singlehandedly most important task for any reader looking to support an author. Once you finish reading a book, be sure to give it a rating on either Goodreads or Amazon. A lack of reviews can leave a book ineligible for consideration for awards or representation on blogs or sales lists.

Request a Copy at Your Local Library

What's totally awesome about libraries is their ability to supply books to so many readers for FREE! What's also super cool is that those readers tell other readers about the totally amazing books they checked out from the library. So be sure to request that a certain book be available at your local library or consider donating a copy.

Nominate an Amazing Book for an Award

If you come across a book that you absolutely love, consider nominating it for certain awards in which books are considered by nominations.

Donating Money

Consider Donating

Many authors, especially indie authors, don't profit much from their work. This makes publishing more books, including additional translations and formats, difficult. Consider donating money to help see your favorite books in audiobook format or translated into other languages.
